Welcome to my bushcraft channel, based in South Tyrol in the central Alps of Europe.
I am building several bushcraftcamps on areas which have something mystic and epic about them.
Using handtools and natural material only, I am giving my best to shape my constructions as harmonious as possible with the terrain and landscape around.

Solo Bushcraft | Building Survival Shelter, Inside Fireplace, Camping in Thunderstorm
This Bushcraft Shelter is made of survival matreial: wood, moss, stones, cow skins, tendon cord. I built it inspired by the native american pit shelters, with a gap on top as a natural chimney. Around it is still enough protected space for cooking, sleeping and storing firewood. Enjoy watching!

Rocks and deadwood are basically all that is needed to build a protective shelter in the wild. I found this rubble on a mountain, which provided the suitable material for the walls. Nice build. A lot of detail. However, I would have built it more out of the path of the next slide. Either stone or snow. Past slides are quite evident.

It was really impressive watching this whole laborious process and the creative techniques employed in creating such a sturdy structure. It did give me pause considering the placement of a shelter on a hillside location where so many large stones and boulders have come to rest.
Thanks a lot. Well that building is just for content, not for long term use. I have to tear it down within a certain period of time. Not my private land...

If you go into the forest owned by the federal government and cut down a bunch of trees and get caught by the ranger you will go to jail quickly
I'm thinking the placement of the structure should've been given more consideration. He's one avalanche or rockslide away from catastrophe.
